Birdathon, Apalachee Audubon's biggest annual fundraiser, will be held April
9th to 25th. Teams of birders pick a 24 hour period within those dates
(Peak Spring Migration time) and list all the bird species they see.
Sponsors pledge an amount per bird or a flat amount that they specify.
The Chapter is looking for a few good (or just enthusiastic) birders to form
Birdathon Teams. This fundraiser allows the Chapter to provide
subscriptions for the, National Audubon Society developed "Audubon
Adventures" kits to local elementary schools. These environmental education
kits have been very popular and demand is increasing. So, it's not only a
worthwhile event, but, it's a lot of fun.

The 2010 Spring FOS meeting will be held in Vero Beach on April 23-25 at the
Marriott Spring Hill Suites! The room block is now available and we have been
