About the Mailing List

Apalachee Audubon now has an official email list. This list is on the Google Groups website. The list is an ‘ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY – no reply, type of list. The list will be used to distribute information and event reminders that apply directly to Apalachee Audubon activities only. No bird lists, no junk mail; just a way for the board of our local chapter to communicate, as may be necessary between newsletters, with the membership and other interested members of the list.
If you are interested in being on this email list you may send a note to Pam Flynn – pflynn57@gmail.com – OR, go to www.googlegroups.com; search for Apalachee Audubon and add yourself to the list. Email addresses will not be visible on emails sent. When you join the list, you choose how you wish to recieve the messages. This allows you to control the number of e-mail messages sent to you each day. Only a few members of the board have authority to send messages. This also assures that you will not be inundated with mail from the list. Messages will be pre-approved by the president or vice president of the Apalachee Audubon Society to preclude inappropriate messages. This list will never be shared to respect your privacy. If anyone replies to a message, the reply will go only to the author.
As a reminder, our website is another place to easily obtain the latest information and the online chapter newsletter. Go to www.apalachee.org.
