Due to last minute changes, Colleen Chase is unable to present at this meeting, but Operation Migration CEO and Co-founder Joe Duff will be standing in for her and will address the decision by the  U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to discontinue ultralight aircraft led migration for the Eastern Migratory Population of Whooping Cranes.

This meeting will be live-streamed through Operation Migration’s CraneCam. If you can’t attend in person, click here to watch online. The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m., EST.

Colleen Chase is one of the intrepid volunteers for Operation Migration who is escorting this year’s class of juvenile Whoopers from Wisconsin to St. Marks NWR. She has been with this year’s colts since they were chicks, helping to raise them at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Maryland last spring. We look forward to hearing about their journey and about conservation efforts for the seriously endangered Whooping Crane.
