  • Currently a program coordinator with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (FDEP) Electronic Discharge Monitoring Report program. In addition, Safety Manager for FDEP’s Division of Water Resource Management.

  • President and founder of the American Green Lodging and Hospitality Association (AGLHA), a not-for-profit organization that works to educate the hospitality industry on sustainability issues.

  • Member of the Board of Advisors for EcoRooms & EcoSuites.

  • Former Program Director of FDEP’s Florida Green Lodging Program, a state initiative which recognized lodging facilities in Florida that met the programs rigorous sustainable criteria.

  • For over a decade, managed DEP’s Recycling Program, one of the nation’s foremost state recycling programs.

  • Worked in various other programs in DEP, including Wastewater Permitting, Underground Storage Tanks and Strategic Planning.

  • Managed Aquatic Toxicity Testing and worked on various Terrestrial Ecology projects at Environmental Science & Engineering, Gainesville, FL.  

  • Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Certificate of Environmental Studies, University of Florida.

  • Married and proud parent of 3 children; two graduated from USF and the third is a sophomore at UF.
