Join Apalachee Audubon Society board member and local naturalist Nicholas Horton for a guided bird walk at Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park in Jefferson County. This unique site combines rich cultural history with excellent birding opportunities. Participants will explore the park's trails while searching for resident and migratory birds, learning bird identification techniques, and discussing the habitats that support North Florida's wildlife.

Meet at the main parking area near the visitor facilities. The walk will cover approximately 1–2 miles at a leisurely pace on mostly flat trails. Bird sightings will vary depending on weather and seasonal conditions.

Beginners and experienced birders are welcome. Bring binoculars, water, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes.
