Join us at the Tallahassee Senior Center to watch Debbie Segal present Sweetwater Wetlands Park - Cleansing Gainesville's Wastewater and Stormwater, while also Attracting Birds and Visitors. We'll also have a pizza social, starting at 6:30 PM!

The ecological, recreational, and ecotourism benefits of Gainesville's Sweetwater Wetlands Park are wide-ranging and represent a triple crown winner for water quality, wildlife, and visitors. Sweetwater is a constructed treatment wetland that was designed to improve surface and groundwater quality, restore the hydrology on Paynes Prairie, and enhance wildlife habitat. After ten years of operation, Sweetwater has not only achieved those goals, it has also become a nationally-recognized ecotourism park. Join Debbie Segal for this informative presentation about Sweetwater Wetlands Park and its many benefits.
