Endemic Birds of Puerto Rico, with Lisa Lazarus

  • Tallahassee Senior Center 1400 North Monroe Street Tallahassee, FL, 32303 United States (map)

Special Announcement

This program is being held on October 22nd—the 4th Thursday—instead of our usual 3rd Thursday.

Lisa Lazarus spent a week in Puerto Rico in March of 2026. She soaked in every bit of birds, wildlife and culture possible! Puerto Rico, a US territory, is the smallest and eastern-most island of the Greater Antilles, and is full of beauty and amazing avian species. It's surrounded by the blues, turquoises, and greens of the warm Caribbean waters. The island featured a multitude of habitats from highland forests to coastal wetlands. Enjoy a tour around the island to see endemics and landscapes from her visit.

Join us at 6:30 PM for our social. At 7 PM we’ll begin the program.

Remember to bring some cash to purchase extra tickets for our door prizes—our mini fundraiser!
